There are some places you visit… and then there are places that completely pull you in from the moment you arrive.

New Orleans is indeed a magical place...to the point I have been twice within the last year. Our first experience was in the Summer of 2025, and we stayed at the JW Marriot on Canal Street. From there, we could walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. It was very convenient! In May of 2026, we returned and stayed at the InterContinental on St Charles, still close to the French Quarter but a little quieter. Food and the people ARE the experience in New Orleans.
